Mission

The White Rock Boathouse, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with a mission of creating opportunities for the citizens of Dallas to experience the sport of rowing and other paddle sports in a safe, professional and enjoyable way.  Competitive and recreational experiences can be pursued within the organization.  Programs for all area youth as well as adults are provided to learn, develop and excel.

Masters RACING Team

Masters or Adult rowing is growing everyday across the United States and it is growing just as fast right here is Dallas!!  White Rock Rowing is a perfect place to row, train, and compete!  Racing is closeby in Oklahoma City, Austin, at the Dallas Rowing Club, in Houston, Waco, as well as right here on White Rock Lake.

Each year more people get into rowing who have had good running careers and are tired of beating up the knees and joints.  Rowing is a lifelong sport that provides a wonderful aerobic workout for the whole body without the jarring and impact of many other sports.

If you are competitive, like to be outdoors and enjoy the idea of being on the water Rowing may be for you!!  Come and visit a practice or contact the Boathouse Captain for more information.
