Head of the Oklahoma

The regatta director for this event, Mike Knopp, says that they are expanding this traditionally college team event to juniors and masters. It looks like quite a festival: Knopp says that in addition to the 2.5 mile head race, the regatta this year will feature “the first night racing in America with 500 meter super sprints.  We will have a professional timing system, jumbo tron, and many additional features to that make this event truly unique.  The US National Team Men’s and Women’s 8s will also be present.”

Get more info, the regatta brochure, and the registration packet on the Events page
